Before and After (Sophie's room and Sophie)

Pink Elephant Cast & Crew

by Edwin Lee

Thank you Edwin :) It was fantastic working with you. And really... though it was a fast shooting schedule, I was so thankful that we had this opportunity to get together with friends and make something that will stay in our memories forever. It was meant to be, and everything that happened throughout this production felt like pretty miracles.  We were appointed by George the Third... to be PINK ELEPHANTS

Model Lighting Images

This should give you an idea of the different lighting conditions that you can achieve with daylight vs. artificial lighting. The first two images are of a model set out in afternoon sunlight and a small camera was placed inside for those photos. The last image is of a model with two tungsten stand lights in a studio setting. So I think the scene could be shot either way. I tend to think though that the more controlled and dramatic lighting of the last photo makes for a better image. I hope it helps to see the difference with an actual model.

Advice from Jason, the architect!

So awesome. I was secretly worried about this aspect of Sophie... I feel so much more confident to create her character now.  Thank you Jason for joining us!
